One 4 Fi......

No abused chicken here. Just good old fashioned Corned Beef Hash.............. with a hint of curry!
.

I was asked by a neighbour how I would make Corned Beef Hash. I'd quite forgotten how tasty is was. With some runner beans and peas from our garden, and some local cauli.......time to cook and prepare, about three quarters of an hour. Time to eat.........minutes!

Comments:
Another delicious looking dinner...your hash looks nothing like what I have had here in the states...

Another recipe please!

Very similar to Bubble and Squeak Sunny.

No measurement, just cook from the heart. Soft cook a large chopped onion. Add to potatoes, cooked and mashed, then mix in about three quarters of a tin of corned beef, cubed. Season, and I add a heaped teaspoon of curry powder. Then pan fry on both sides. Goes well with just veg or as it is.

Let me know when you're cooking and I'll drop in......... I wish!

mmmmmmmmmmmmm looks yummy!! And just for me? *blush*

I love food like this! Everything mixed together, one fork eating :)

As a child I had a habit of mixing everything on my plate into a single mass of food, using whatever sauce or gravy was there, to bind it all together. One of my favs was fish fingers, peas and chips, held together with parsley sauce *L*

A fork! You use a fork? What happened to spoons? lol!!!!

Fish fingers! Haven't had them for.............. ages. Got to take the breadcrumbs off first and the eat the fish....... with tom ketchup. Mmmmmm!

Damn, you've uncovered me....I often eat with a plastic spoon LOL

Hmmm not sure about removal of the breadcrumbs, be a bit too 'fishy' then.

A theory is that 'ketchup' originated in the east. Interestingly enough, tomato in Cantonese is 'keh' and sauce is 'tsap'.

Great believer in ketchup. Very good for the prostrate. Not sure if you should rub it in or take internally
