Wild Garlic.......

The hedges are full of it. Brush against the leaves and the scent of garlic will follow you on the breeze. I've never tried it, but I understand it can be used rather like spinach, cooked for seconds and served, or as in a salad, with mixed leaves.

.......and in flower.

Comments:
ooooh no bulbs!!!!! I'd go for a quick stir fry of the leaves. Sounds delicious :)

That's an idea, but don't over cook. I understand the leaves go black if.

We have seen lots of this on our recent walks. Have never picked any though..... maybe I should try it!

You first Seeker.
