A new visitor......and update.

We've had a new visitor to our bird table. A beautiful male bullfinch. Whether he is staying or just passing through, time will tell. They were regular visitors, but over the last few years we've only caught the odd sight of these attractive little birds.

Nice birds...ummmm do any of the hedges have fruit-bearing growths you could show us? You do realise I'm asking for a food post!!! ;)

Wrong season for hedgerow food. Stacks of wild garlic around, but it's not exactly a one course meal.

These photos are wonderful! I keep telling myself my next purchase will be bird feeder.....now it is a must!
