Hiding in the hedge......

I knew they were there. I had seen them before but I was never sure what they were. A flash of purple, hiding amongst the brambles on the top of a hedge. That's probably why they have managed to grow and survive. It's where the sheep in the field can't quite reach, otherwise they might have been a tasty snack by now.

It's not rare, in fact it is quite common in this part of the country, but hundreds of people a day pass by without a second glance.
